We make around 20,000 decisions a day “on autopilot”. Every 18 months or so, we make a decision that significantly changes our lives. And the volatility of our times often makes decision-making a real challenge, and our professional careers develop primarily because of the decisions we make and how we make them.
In fact, management literature on leadership skills can be boiled down to two aspects: Building relationships and making decisions. So if we know about the relevance of this skill, why do we put so little focus on it?
